BELA MUSANA FOR SOMALIA!
I read an article this morning about the famine going on in Somalia and was devastated by the numbers that they are reporting "29,000 children under the age of 5 have died from starvation..." What can we do? What can I do? The problem seems completely overwhelming, but a friend sent me a photo that she scribbled while at a conference. I opened it this morning and was reminded by it's simple message: be the light (bela musana).
This simple message is that in a world that seems to be covered in so much darkness...there is light. WE are the light. And whatever we feel passionately about, we must pursue it with the greatest light! Spread it. Live it. Love it. And pray for those who need it most.
Send love and light to our brothers and sisters in Somalia.
BELA MUSANA EVERYONE!
(thanks Ashley and Kelly for the reminder)
